Performance comparison of multicoupled air conditioning units with single compressor and double compressor

Compares the energy efficiency ratio (EER) and integrated part load value (IPLV) of multicoupled air conditioning units with a single frequency conversion compressor and a double compressor system with a joint of a frequency fixed compressor and a frequency conversion compressor by experiments. The results indicate that the average EER and IPLV of the double compressor system are 36 W/W and 367 respectively, while those of the single compressor system are 31 W/W and 321 respectively, which proves that the double compressor frequency conversion air conditioning unit has better energy efficiency.
